定语从句既是中学英语重点语法项目之一，也是每年高考热点。由于定语从句涉及内容繁杂，复习备考难度较大，本文拟结合历年高考题对其热点、难点作一归类分析：

考点一：考查关系代词which 引导的非限制性定语从句。

考点归类：

1）关系代词which 引导非限制性定语从句时，其先行词可以是整个句子，也可以是主句的一部分，此时，which 相当于 and this ； 其前逗号与主句分开，其位置要在主句之后；在从句中作主语或宾语；

2) 关系代词that 不能引导非限制性定语从句.

1） 关系代词as在限制性定语从句中，常用于 the same … as … 和such … as … 句型;

2) 关系代词 as 在非限制性定语从句中，其先行词可以是整个主句，也可以是主句的一部分；其位置在主句的前、中或后均可；as 在从句中作主语或宾语.

1）关系代词that 既指人又指物，可在从句中充当主语、宾语或表语，偶尔还可以作方式壮语；

2）下列情况下，常用关系代词that 而不用which ； ①先行词是everything ,anything ,nothing ,something ,all或者被all ,very , few ,little, only 修饰时；②先行词被序数词或形容词最高级修饰时；③先行词既为人又为物时；④在定语从句中作表语时；3）在who开头的特殊疑问句中，为避免重复时，常用that 代替who; 4)that 不能用于非限制性定语从句或“介词+关系代词”结构；5）that 作主语时不能省略。

考点五：考查关系副词when 和 where 的用法

考点归纳：

1）关系副词when, where 分别在定语从句中作时间状语或地点状语；

2）区分定语从句缺少状语或宾语，关键在于先行词在定语从句中充当什么成分，换句话说，从句谓语动词是及物动词，则从句缺少宾语；是不及物动词，则从句缺少状语。

近几年的高考试题更倾向于把非谓语动词的考查融入到定语从句中来增强句子的复杂性、干扰性。其对策是仔细找出定语从句，然后确定从句所包含的非谓语结构，然后顺藤摸瓜，选出最佳答案。
