　　在电影中，特别是喜剧电影中，总会有人通常都是举止优雅，然后，突然一下，就摔倒在地，原来是不小心踩到了香蕉皮，真是令人尴尬。所以在英国口语中呢，banana skin stands for sth. that could cause difficulty or embarrassment, especially to sb. in a pubic position. 也就是指造成麻烦，使人当众出丑的事物。

　　夏天，女生爱吃一种冰淇淋，叫香蕉船，而英文就是banana split, 要记住呦。

　　中国有句俗语，吃不到葡萄说葡萄酸。英文也有此说，但简单很多，sour grapes, sth. used to show that you think sb. is jealous and is pretending that sth. is not important 酸葡萄。

　　Eg.He said he didn’t want the job anyway, but that’s just sour grapes. 他说他并不想干这份工作，其实只是吃不到葡萄说葡萄酸而已。
